Collin Sampson brings a healthcare-informed security lens to the technology Expion relies on to serve clients and scale. As VP, Infrastructure and CISO, he leads Expion’s technical infrastructure and information security programs, overseeing IT operations, risk management, data protection and access security.
As Expion evaluates new technologies and capabilities, Collin helps assess the risks, establish the right safeguards and ensure the infrastructure behind them is secure and reliable. He also works directly with clients on security and privacy requirements, helping provide confidence in how their data is protected.
Prior to joining Expion, Collin led information security, technology and regulatory compliance programs at Asembia. Working across group purchasing, patient support, specialty pharmacy, pharmacy analytics and SaaS gave him a broader understanding of how drugs are developed and brought to market, the factors influencing prescribing, and what affects medication cost and affordability.
A Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Collin brings that combination of healthcare context and security expertise to Expion’s continued technology transformation.
