Expion Health, described as a leader in next-generation prescription economics, has been ranked on the 2026 Inc. 5000 list of America’s fastest-growing private companies. This achievement represents the company’s second consecutive appearance on the prestigious list, with the company improving its ranking by nearly 77% year-over-year and now placing in approximately the top 21% of honorees.

The pharmacy benefits sector is experiencing rapid transformation driven by rising costs, evolving access patterns, regulatory changes, rebate management challenges and shifting member requirements. Expion’s expansion reflects growing market demand from health plans, pharmacy benefit managers and self-funded employers seeking adaptable solutions that provide enhanced flexibility, visibility and oversight without necessitating complete infrastructure replacement.

CEO Karin Humphrey emphasized the significance of the recognition, stating: “Being named to the Inc. 5000 for the second consecutive year reflects growing demand for a different approach to pharmacy strategy and the value our teams deliver.”

The company’s modular approach enables organizations to selectively integrate capabilities spanning rebate management, formulary strategy, analytics and execution. The platform leverages ExpionIQ, its insights and performance technology, to convert complex pharmacy data into actionable intelligence and coordinated implementation.

Expion is also reshaping how pharmacy value gets defined and assessed. The company’s total-value prescription performance methodology integrates financial accountability, regulatory compliance, clinical judgment and outcomes measurement, providing stakeholders with improved strategic oversight and decision-making capacity.

Inc. Editor-in-Chief Mike Hofman noted: “Every company on the Inc. 5000 demonstrates perseverance, smart decision making and a refusal to sit still.”

The 2026 Inc. 5000 list encompasses the nation’s most rapidly expanding private enterprises and has previously recognized Microsoft, Meta, Chobani, Oracle and Patagonia among its honorees.
